The trained Community Health Workers (CHW) of community health programme conduct mothers
meeting at the village pockets as usual feature and make mothers aware about HIV/AIDS along with
other health issues in relation to maternal, child, adolescent and community health.
The topics include the concept, transmission mode of human immune virus, symptoms, means of prevention, dreadful effect of syndromes, counseling of patients etc. In the Rural Health & Training Centre of the organization blood examination for HIV detection are done along with routine test for the pregnant mothers, come for antenatal checkups. Besides, for community level campaign generating HIV/AIDS awareness among the mass hoarding/banners/posters are fixed in key locations of the community with high people turnover.
