Sabuj Sangha, through its 49 years of journey, today, February 22, Thursday at Champahati in Baruipur Block, South 24 Parganas, in Sabuj Sangha’s Child Education and Child Protection Project, which is a new addition to the project of providing education for poor slum children adjacent to railway tracks. Aalor Disha School’s new building was inaugurated to provide a healthy environment of learning and safety. The event was attended by representatives of the donor organization – IndienHilfe, Germany. Dr. Elizabeth, one of these representatives, said that we are very happy and proud that we are forming a project jointly with organizations like Sabuj Sangha to provide education and healthcare to these poor children in Sundarbans and its adjoining areas in West Bengal. She further said that by proper utilization of the support, we have provided, a beautiful school building has been built which is very suitable for imparting education to the children. In the next few days, we will visit various operational areas of Sabuj Sangha and try to know about the difficulties of community people by meeting them and in the same way we will try to improve their lives by implementing various new projects. At the end she thanked Sabuj Sangha and Sabuj Sangha’s Secretary Mr. Ansuman Das. Mr. Ansuman Das said that we are very fortunate that with the help of donor organizations like IndienHilfe, we have been able to provide education to all these underprivileged children. We would like these 2 organizations to improve people more through mutual coordination in the future.
