On 24th February 2024, a solar plant project was inaugurated with the financial support of German solar power company Solarblick and IndienHilfe, Germany at Swarnalata Sabuj Seva Sadan Health Centre in Nandakumarpur Gram Panchayat under Mathurapur II block of Sundarban project area of Sabuj Sangha. The objective of this project is to implement the project in Swarnalata Sabuj Seva Sadan Health Centre with the aim of providing a permanent solution to uninterrupted services for marginalized people through 24-hour electricity connection and saving conventional energy. Panchayat representatives of Nandakumarpur Gram Panchayat, many mothers and college students were present on the occasion. Felix and Nicolas, representatives of Solarblick, said that through this project, our company wants to create an awareness among the society and will try to teach systematic changes in shaping people’s lifestyles to deal with climate change and global warming in the future. We are very glad and happy that we have decided to form a joint project with Sabuj Sangha to develop such a project in this remote area of Sundarbans. Hope this project will be of great benefit to the people here in the future.
