Kasif Iqbal is a young man of 21 years live with his parents and siblings in a small pocket area of Metiabruz slum in Ward No. 135 of Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC). He has faced many hard challenges since his childhood which made him industrious and hard working. His father works as shop keeper in a local grocery shop and earn around Rs. 6000 per month.
When he was in 12th standard his father lost his work for temporary physical disability and he joined the hand Embroidery work in the local zari shop, he was earning R.s 2000 in per month but it was not enough to support his family. But in reality his desire was totally different from the current situation, he want to join in an organized work and continue his further study.
When he was informed by our office staffs for a free skilled development training, he joint our three months facility management training and after the completion of the training now he is working in the Niharika 3 star hotel and earn 6000 Rs. in his salary. He thinks that self believes and hard work is the key of success, now he joint in the open education mood for the up gradation of his study and financially supports his family. He is so thankful to us for giving him this opportunity in the right time.
