7th Foundation Day of Nayantara Program‘Nayantara’ – Empowering Adolescent Girls in Rural Areas of Sunderbans

The 7th Foundation Day of the Nayantara Program was celebrated on the 13th of December 2024, marking a significant milestone in empowering adolescent girls in rural Sunderbans. The Sabuj Sangha Knowledge Campus in Nandakumarpur came alive with the vibrant energy of 150 girls from Mathurapur II, Sagar, and Patharpratima blocks, showcasing their talents in various activities.

Mr. Ansuman Das, the Director of Sabuj Sangha, presided over the event, honouring esteemed guests like Mr. Samir Jana, MLA of Patharpratima Constituency, and Mr. ArijitAdikari, a renowned Child and Youth Rights Activist. The atmosphere was filled with joy and enthusiasm as the girls performed dance routines, sang melodious songs, enacted captivating dramas, and displayed their agility in gymnastics.
