In 2023, Sabuj Sangha implemented the solar panel installation project at Kalinagar High School, Krishnanagar Municipality of Nadia District. With the objective of restoring power supply, utilizing renewable energy sources, and lowering carbon emissions at the school for uninterrupted learning, we have installed the solar panel so that it can significantly reduce electricity costs for the school, leading to long-term financial savings. Further, the presence of solar panels provides the students with uninterrupted learning and an educational opportunity to learn about renewable energy, environmental conservation, and the importance of sustainability. This initiative also serves as a powerful symbol of the government’s commitment to innovative and eco-friendly solutions, setting an example for communities and other entities to follow suit. As technology advances and economies of scale improve, this project holds the promise of a more sustainable and resilient energy future.
