Celebration of International Women’s Day in South 24 Parganas
On March 4, 2023, Sabuj B.Ed. College and Sabuj Primary Teachers Training Institution organized International Women’s Day at Sabuj Sangha Knowledge Campus in Sundarbans South 24 Parganas. The purpose of celebrating Women’s Day is to raise awareness about the status and dignity of women among people. This is the 75th year of celebrating International Women’s Day. On this occasion, the Ministry of HRD and the Department of Education, Government of India announced that, between March 1st and March 8th, all institutions across the country can celebrate this day in their own way.
More than 500 women and adolescents from Sabuj B.Ed. College, Sabuj Primary Teachers Training Institution, and other Sabuj Sangha educational wings celebrated International Women’s Day on March 4, 2023. On this occasion, we are very proud to say that all the women and adolescents participated in this celebration and discussed several issues like girl child trafficking, the importance of girl child education, the contribution of women in our society, etc.
