During the occasion for celebration of World Environment Day on 5th June, 2023, renowned organization Sagar Block in Sundarbans South 24 Parganas district, West Bengal ‘Paribesh Unnayan O Seva Samity’ organized an Environmental Fare at the Kanyashree Maidan of Sundarban Janakalyan Sangha Vidyaniketan in Rudranagar village of Sagar block.
Sagar Block Paribesh Unnayan O Seva Samity conferred a prestigious ‘Paribesh Mitra’ award to Sri Ansuman Das the honourable Secretary/Director of Sabuj Sangha for his contribution in the field of Environment Social Change & Integrated Development.
A memento is handed over to him by Sri Bankim Hazra, Honourable Minister-In-Charge, Sundarban Affairs, GoWB. Mr. Ansuman Das mentioned on the importance and need of integrated development and the role of HRDP Parivartan Project in this regard.
Mr. Ansuman Das mentioned that this award is dedicated to entire his team and their strong and relentless efforts for building a Social Order of harmony & peace by creating a resilience between Man & Nature and human rights of livelihoods, quality health access, education, empowerment etc. in strong synchronization with community and government.
